Bill Scanning and Data Processing
Bill Split may request access to your device camera or storage in order to:
- Scan receipts and bills
- Import images from your device
- Save processed bill information locally on your device
All bill scanning and text processing are performed locally on your device.
We do not upload, transmit, store, or share your scanned bills, receipt images, or extracted text on any server or cloud service.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or share:
- Scanned receipt images
- Extracted receipt text
- Personal financial information
- Audio recordings
- Videos
- Files from your device storage
Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to share it yourself using your device’s built-in sharing features.
